Dr. Amit Kumar Srivastava is presently working as Principal Consultant in Orthopaedics with area of expertise in Joint Replacement Surgeries by minimally invasive technique and computer assisted surgery (CAS). He is a graduate (MBBS) from Prestigious GSVM Medical College, Kanpur and postgraduate (M. S. Orthopedics) from MLN Medical College, Allahabad. He has Fellowship in Joint Replacement and Arthroscopy (key hole) Surgery.
He is having 18 years of experience in Orthopaedics. He routinely performs Knee and Hip Total Joint Replacement surgery at Max Super Specialty Hospital, New Delhi. Dr Amit also has experience of doing revision Total Joint Replacement in cases of failed primary surgery. He tackles sports injury around knee and shoulder by Key hole (Arthroscopic) techniques for problems related to anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), Posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) and meniscus tear and for shoulder dislocations and instability.
He does Trauma surgery on routine basis and strictly follows A.O principle to give maximum benefit to his patient’s. He is routinely involved in operating on patients who come from across the border and get themselves operated for Hip and Knee problems and are relieved by THR, TKR, and arthroscopically done surgery for ACL, PCL meniscus and recurrent dislocation of shoulder.
He is also a national faculty for A. O. (Trauma) and Depuy (J & J) and he is actively involved in teaching and training programmes both at national and international forum.
